I have tried half a dozen of these AirPlay devices over the years and they do keep getting better.
First off the connection screen comes up quickly gives you directions to connect to the Bluetooth. Once you do, that’s it. Each time I get in the car my iPhone connects wirelessly to AirPlay.
My previous AirPlay device was the shape of. USB stick so it stuck stuck out on my console and was a bit obtrusive. This device is nice and smooth and sits flush with the console and is very small. It lights up blue to let you know it’s connected. That is fine unless you have red or a different color dash lights.
I think it is definitely worth the money to get a brand name like Ottocast rather than a no name brand.

This item was very easy to set up and it detected what type of phone I had and used the correct Android auto configuration without any problems. The sound quality is excellent and there isn't any lag while using the device on my vehicle so the value of this product for how much you pay is very good. The wireless connectivity is perfect and it doesn't have any problems with connecting to my phone and using android auto while in the vehicle. The small form factor of this device is very convenient because I can hide it pretty easily with my vehicle not coming with wireless Android auto natively it's a nice feature to have this in the vehicle and have it hidden. The build quality is good as well and this piece of Hardware should last a very long time in the vehicle.
